The Larters course is not overly long in length but requires accuracy off the tee. Ladies that hit the ball longer than average can test themselves from the white tees and face a very tough test!

Hole Description: The first hole at Larters is a long par with a gentle dog leg from right to left. Unless you are a long hitter, your second shot demands a long iron to a generous green.
Pro Tip: Tee shot down the left side makes the hole play shorter.

Hole Description: The second hole at Larters is a long dog leg right, par 5. Trees guard the fairway on both sides all the way to the green. This green has two tiers and two-putting will be tough. Pro Tip: When the flag is located on the top tier of this green, keep your approach short on the bottom tier.

Hole Description: The third hole at Larters is a dog leg left par four. A bunker on the right and trees on the left put a premium on accuracy off the tee. Another large green with two tiers will make putting a challenge.
Pro Tip: On the approach to the green , try to avoid missing the green to the right.

Hole Description: The fourth hole is the signature hole at Larters. There is trouble everywhere you look on this hole. Water left, OB right. A tee shot in the fairway is a must. Water and OB also guard this shallow green.
Pro Tip: Be confident off the tee, the fairway is much wider than it appears from the tee.

Hole Description: The fifth hole at Larters is a short par three that provides a much needed break before the difficult sixth. The green causes most of the problems on this hole, sloping severely from back to front.
Pro Tip: Be sure to keep your tee shot below the flag on this hole.

Hole Description: The sixth hole at Larters is the longest par four on the course, measuring over 450 yards from the blue tees. OB guards the right side of the fairway, so be sure to stay left.
Pro Tip: Tie your shoes tight and let’er rip, you need distance on this hole.

Hole Description: Hardest par three on the course from the white and blue tees! A long iron or wood will be required to reach this large green. The right side provides plenty of room to bail but par will require a great up and down.
Pro Tip: Hug the right side of the green and take your chances with an up and down par to avoid the water. Par is a great score on this hole.

Hole Description: This short par 4 demands a very accurate tee shot. A large bunker guards the left side of this hole with rough and trees to the right. The green is the largest on the course, take note of the pin location.
Pro Tip: Hitting a long iron or fairway wood off the tee may not be a bad idea here.

Hole Description: Thankfully, the first nine is almost over. A good tee shot down the middle of the fairway leaves a short iron to a two-tiered green.
Pro Tip: Long is definitely wrong here, don’t go over this green!

Hole Description: This medium length par 4 has OB down the left and thick trees on the right, the tee shot on this hole is challenging with fairway bunkers everywhere. OB borders this green on left and behind.
Pro Tip: The bunkers are no bargain but they are definitely better than being OB or in the trees.

Hole Description: The eleventh hole at Larters may be the easiest you will see all day. A short tee shot is all that is needed here. The second shot is over water to a round flat green. Par or birdie is a good possibility.
Pro Tip: Be aware of the wind on your approach, most of the time it is in your face.

Hole Description: The twelveth hole is a short par three that is surrounded by trouble. With water short and right and OB left it is essential that you pick the right club here. This multi-level green slopes from back to front with several subtle breaks.
Pro Tip: Take enough club…. Anything short is wet.

Pro Tip: For every eagle chance you get, there is likely a double bogey not far behind!

Hole Description: The fifteenth hole is another par four surrounded by trouble. Trees and OB left, water lurks on your right. Strategically placed fairway bunkers prevent many balls from ending up worse, but are still tough to play from.
Pro Tip: You need to hit the fairway ….anything else is bad news.

Hole Description: This sharp dogleg left par 4 is a sleepy killer. This hole has no room for error off the tee and your approach shot is to an “upside down saucer” shaped green which is tough to hold.
Pro tip: Tee shot needs to stay down right side to have any look at the green.

Hole Description: The finishing hole is a classic “risk/reward”. Reachable in two shots by long hitters, the green is guarded by water along the right and “big trouble” with trees left.
